Sandrine Holt (born Sandrine ho) was born on November 19, 1972 in London. The daughter of Chinese parents as well as French mothers. At the age of five she moved to Toronto, Canada and has called it home ever since. She worked as a catwalk model for a time in Paris prior to becoming an actress. Her film debut was as Annuka, in Black Robe (1991). In recognition of this performance, she received a nomination in the Genie Award - the Canadian Oscar.
